Role: Lead Industrial Designer, market & user research, concept development, sketching, prototyping & testing, CAD modeling, rendering, design for manufacturing, color material finish, and packaging design.
Objective: Design a sink organizer that utilizes the unused space around the sink. Design must be easy to clean and set up while fitting most sinks and tools. Must seamlessly fits into the aesthetic of madesmart's growing sinkware collection.
Solution: The final solution is an innovative sink saddle that incorporates multiple organization solutions for any, and all cleaning tools. Utilizing the unused space around the sink divider gave the sink saddle the flexibility to fit most any sinks without taking up valuable space around the faucet. The soft-touch basket on one side seamlessly flows into the towel bar while suction cups holds on tight around the divider. Soft material and rounded corners, dot and hole patterns mimic the madesmart® sinkware design language.
